Apparitions is rooted in the contradiction of seeing through form. Translucency carries an otherworldly pull, suggesting access beyond the surface, while its lack of opacity leaves the eye searching for boundaries that the body continually exceeds. Across the collection, bodies take on charged, spectral qualities that extend beyond their physical outlines. Shifting matter seems to spill from the figures and gather around them, giving visible form to an inner world that feels simultaneously mental, material, and atmospheric.
